Audition Tips

Specifically, a community theatre production (trying to gain more experience) with an audition I don't think went well.
I set too fast a tempo for the song and skewed up my last note. I feel like anything that happened after was all downhill from there. (the only other thing they had me do was test out my vocal range (which fell short of my usual range- which I put on my resume...) and try a spanish accent for a certain character.
My main question is- should I be so wo

Hi, first of all, I'm new to this site, so I apologize if this post is on the wrong message board.
Secondly, I'm planning to audition for a production of Sweeney Todd soon. However, I don't want to use a song from the show to audition.
What would be a good song to do? I'm a 22 year old male with a vocal range of Eb2-F#4. I was hoping to audition for Anthony Hope, if that helps.
