Wow, mikem, I'm impressed by your knowledge! Well, I'm more concerned about the cast for Promises, Promises, so it sounds like it's a little better that I've got a ticket for Friday. Otherwise I'll just cross my fingers that they're all feeling well. :)

I have absolutely no doubt that these people are professionals and committed to their jobs. I simply wondered whether things like Tony run-throughs (for, say, Sean Hayes) might affect their schedule at all. I also had an experience where I tried to get a ticket to a show in 2007 and was informed that there were no current shows because, as the somewhat snotty box office teller put it, "It's Tony Week." So basically, I just wasn't sure how the Tonys may or may not affect things.

Hi all! I'm curious if anyone knows whether the Tony Awards will affect whether actors appear in their shows during that weekend. I'm seeing Promises, Promises on Friday and Addams Family on Saturday. It'll be okay if they aren't there, but obviously I'd really like it if I didn't see understudies (mainly for Promises, Promises).

Hi all,
My mom and I are fans of Christopher Sieber, and enjoyed him a lot in Spamalot. I caught him in Shrek last year and my mom was excited to see him too, but the week that she went to NY, he was out every night and she was pretty disappointed. Now of course the show is closed, but I'd really love to surprise her with a signed playbill or something... I'm sure I can find stuff like this for sale, but before I go that route, I was wondering if anyone knew if there's a way I can con
