Thank you! I literally mean: play. Not "show" or musical, looking for straight plays. So thank you! :)
Best Play on Broadway?

Looking to see a play on Broadway in November/December. What is the best play on Broadway right now? Any you would recommend? Any not worth seeing? Thanks in advance!
Seats for Pippin?

Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately we only had one date/time we could attend and it was slim pickings on tickets. I'm hoping the show is "big" enough that we will still be able to enjoy. Looking forward to it! :)

Best seats for Next to Normal?

Thanks so much for all of your feedback! Ended up getting row A on the R orchestra level...perhaps a little closer than I would have liked, but my daughter will be thrilled! Very excited to see this show! :)

Just wondering where I should aim to sit for this show. Would it be okay to be in the R or L orchestra section?
Thanks!

Best seats for Mary Poppins and Elf?
 Nov 25 2010, 06:35:12 PM
I am looking at tickets for these two shows and wondering what to aim for in terms of seats.
I want to be close enough that our noses aren't bleeding, but far enough back to see the big picture and not miss anything. Cost is also an issue as the orchestra seats are pricey.
I would appreciate any feedback you could provide!
Thanks so much!

Tickets for 12/18-19, buy now or try day of?

Thanks so much for the great info dramamama! I am intrigued by Next To Normal, I really think it might blow my daughter away, which is what I am hoping to have happen. I know she would like Phantom too, but I would like to take her to something that kind of strikes her to the core, she is an aspiring thespian, and I think she would really appreciate it!

Any advice on where to sit for a show like Mary Poppins? I need to add some levity to our trip too! :)

Thanks!

Thanks for the great info!
How are the balcony seats for Mary Poppins? I am not familiar with these theaters so hard to know where the best seats might be! Any tips on where to sit for Phantom?
Is Next To Normal appropriate for kids? I know I would love to see it, but not sure my 9 and 13 year old would appreciate it the way my hubby and I would...
Thanks for your feedback!

Thanks for all of the feedback! Not sure what shows yet...my daughter would like to see Phantom of the Opera, also interested in Elf, In the Heights, Memphis, or maybe Mary Poppins...any recommendations?

Hello!
My family and I are headed into the city the weekend of the 18-19th. We want to see one show as a family and my daughter and I will see an additional show.
Do you recommend trying to get discount tickets before hand or trying our luck at day of tickets/discount ticket booths when we get there?
Thanks so much for your thoughts and opinions!
