So what do I do if finally for the first time
the one I'm burning for returns the glow?
If love has come at last it's picked the worst time
still I know- I've got to go

didn't Oprah help make the color purple the musical? Like help produce it or give them money or something?
re: Songs That Have Made You Cry?

oh dang. ok.
Hardest part of love (is the letting go) from Children of Eden
In the Beginning from Children of Eden
On the Willows from Godspell
By my side from Godspell
Finale from Godspell
Fathers and Sons from Working
I Confess from Footloose (sometimes)
they can't take that away from me from Crazy for You
For Good from Wicked
Bring Him Home from les Mis

probably more

although none of these have made me cry every time I listen to it.

Hi you guys, just an update-
we are NOT doing Aida. My director was stupid and told a lot of people that we were. I'm very mad that he did that. So, auditions were supposed to be Wednesday, but we only heard what show we're REALLY doing today- Godspell. Ok, so i would be ok with that if it weren't for the fact that we just did it 3 YEARS AGO. which means that this years seniors did it their freshman year. Ok THAT pisses me off. i just know that theyr

OY VEY!!

Yes about the Seuss one. My school did it last summer and we were the first in the area to do it. This school year, at least 6 high schools in my area are doing Seussical. Its crazy.

 Jan 16 2005, 11:49:07 PM
Thanks. Yea i was mad too. I didn't really expect the other two. Its been getting really bad reviews

By the way, who did win best actress in a Musical/Comedy? Just wondering

re: Aida auditions
 Jan 16 2005, 11:45:35 PM
WOW. i had NO idea about that. i don't know if my director knows that.

Thanks for the tips everyone! i think it would be easiest just to do every story... because i dont' have time to learn a new song, and my director would probabaly like to hear a song from the show anyway. Thanks though!

Hey to the one about lil abner- that reminds me of Cinderella on T.V. with Brandy. Whoopi Goldberg and Victor Garber somehow had an Asian kid (who is extremely good looking) :)
