Why are Broadway tickets for SIX so expensive?

Does anyone know when Abby will be back? She's been out for almost 3 weeks minus one performance. Hope she is o.k. and perhaps on extended vocal rest.

I say go for it knowing there's a chance it doesn't work :) I was in town for one night, bought tickets for 8 pm SIX and 8 pm Waitress (nose bleeds). I'd seen Waitress three times before but wanted to see Sara. I saw all of SIX and then jumped across the street and saw the second act of Waitress!!! Call me crazy but it was AWESOME!!

I paid more than I ever had to see this show, and it was worth every penny. If you don't think it's worth it, don't see it. But you get 2 hr 30 mins of show crammed into 80 minutes, it's non stop amazing from start to finish. So much fun!

Yes that line and the way Jenna reacts indicates she's at least a little younger than 40. No knock at all to Sara and Jennifer, I'm a HUGE fan of Sara especially. It's just funny how Ben is getting so much flack and this is announced at the same time. I will GLADLY suspend belief for all amazing talents :)

Went last nite and omg it was spectacular. I agree with an earlier post the energy of being there is incomparable. The cast was on fire and the audience was so excited and very respectful. What-an-experience!!

Thank you for your honest resale price!!! I wish ticketmaster wouldn't allow this kind of greed and cap how much you can go up from the original sale price. I'm such a fan, and would be so grateful if they came down so I could see the show.

Does anyone know why the resale tickets for SIX seem SO much higher than any other show right now? $1,200 for orchestra!? Will they come down or predicted to stay that outlandish? I was hoping for October 16th or 30th.
I've never been to the Brooks Atkinson, are there seats to avoid or are they all good since it is fairly small?

O.k. here is my over thinking it theory...
Khalia and Jon are on 12-15th so Eva and Reeve can take a break. Nothing about Jessie or Anthony going on together so maybe just a small break for Eva and Reeve since they are both the main leads and I heard Reeve is going somewhere for a short while in April?
Since Khalia and Jon are on, Kimberly has to stay until the 15th because of the lack of swing/ensemble/workers.

I sent a self addressed stamped envelop to the Walter Kerr with a donation to Broadway Cares Foundation and got the entire cast's signature on a Playbill (including Amber). I think maybe if you asked for just Amber's she would do it! :)
