ACL2006 said: "Was Hannah still out as Marcia? I believe she got injured at the beginning of January and Ginger has been the temporary Marcia. They did fly in Mary Page Nance as an emergency cover for Marcia for a few weeks."
I'm pretty sure Hannah was just on vacation for a week when they brought in Mary Page Nance. She was only with the show in Greenville, SC. Hannah was back right after she left. I think one of the other Marcia covers got sick/injured which is

This is confirmed. The Philip tour closes in Las Vegas on June 1.
I also see the Moulin Rouge tour closing this summer. It feels like it has run its course and I think we would have heard of at least one engagement for next season at this point.

Can anyone comment on the new orchestrations? The tour does not have reeds or brass- the band is now 2 keys, drums, percussion, bass, and a string quartet.

THE NOTEBOOK to Close on Broadway on December 15, 2024 Oct 9

There are plenty of audios from last night’s performance on TikTok. The new couple sounds great, ESPECIALLY Anna. She is a star and I have a feeling she’s going to be one of Bway’s next big leading ladies. Benji sounds pretty good- some of Younger Noah’s songs are really tough sings, and I’m sure he’ll settle in.

Ryan was actually out all day on Wednesday. I have a feeling it was to rest for the filming- he’s been having some vocal issues recently and went flat on a lot of notes during today’s performance.
Jordan was back for the evening performance supposedly. Must have been something for Gypsy with Joy.

I am finally seeing the show this afternoon and just learned that Jordan Tyson is out all day. Really surprising for her last weekend. Hope she’s okay and that she’ll go on tomorrow.

A three show day? Oct 1
2024, 02:04:20 AM
At the end of 2022, I did an Ohio State Murders matinee, booked it to Lincoln Center for a 4pm Old Man and The Pool, and had plenty of time before the 8pm 1776. 3 VERY different works- it made for a really fun day.

Ken Page has passed away at 70 Oct 1
2024, 01:57:44 AM
Oh, man. This HURTS. As a StL resident the past few years, I’ve been able to see Ken in multiple St. Louis Symphony Orchestra concerts, and most recently this summer in Les Mis at The Muny which must have been his final stage appearance. He had an enormous presence in our city and will be sorely missed. Two devastating losses for the theater community in the past 24 hours.

Why? The program is simply there to give you info about the production you are seeing (and advertise crap you don't need). Why does it matter whichpublisher prints them?"
I’ve been collecting my playbills since my first Broadway show at the age

They cut them all :( the tour pit is 10 compared to 18 on Broadway. I saw it in previews in NYC and I’ll see it in StL next week- I am tempering my expectations for sure

For those who pay attention to orchestra sizes on tour- Ain’t Too Proud cut all the strings and horns and put them on a click track. The new tour has a 5 piece rhythm section (K1, K2, guitar, drums, bass). The new finale is gonna feel really empty…

COMPANY Revival On Tour - News & Discussion Thread Sep 16

According to Britney Coleman, the tour recouped. I’m honestly surprised- it sold terribly in St. Louis but I guess it’s found success in the major metropolitan areas. Congrats to all involved!!
