The future of Billy

First off - Happy Birthday Felix, I hope you have a good day.

Secondly - There was talk that Stephen Daldry mentioned how the show Wicked! was coming over from Broadway to take to London's West End stage.
Someone mentioned that it will be the Victoria Palace that this will be coming into which means Billy might be on the move, but I think you'll find that this show will be going too the Victoria Apollo theatre where Saturday Night Fever is currently playing

Well like Steve mentioned earlier, yes I was at the show last night, thanks to Hokeys quiz!
Firstly, I would like to say that it was a lovely gesture that this prize was given away. Thank you, I have donated the ticket cost to charity.

Due to the fact that I missed my train to get to London, the heat was on for me to arrive in time for 7:30…, which thankfully I did with a few minutes to go before curtain up!

Now I haven’t got my programme in front of me so I apologise that

Hello everyone,

For those of you who have PM'd me today I shall write back very soon. I've got a lot of catching up to do with all these posts that everyone has written about yesterday.
I've been spending my afternoon uploading new photo's to the Gallery Page of the fansite from Billy Day... especially for those of you who weren't able to make it to the show!

What a day it was!

It was really nice chatting to a lot of fellow board members, before and after the shows.

If you are already a registered member then you will have no problems viewing "George's Last Night" album.

Jessie JA Fan - I agree that it is always nice to hear positive comments about this show.

In terms of saying that this board is very slow at the moment, thats because we are all posting on the other forum...

James back in the show!
 Nov 20 2005, 08:22:09 AM
Yesterday I was up in London for the whole day; I had such an early start as I had a radio interview to do on BBC London’s breakfast show! Once this had finished I went over to the Victoria Palace to get some day seats for a particular show! I was absolutely amazed that I was 5th in line at 7:30 in the morning! This queue seems to start earlier and earlier!

It was good meeting up with a few people from this board, you know who you are

Wow, I’ve not been on this board since Friday night and there’s so much chat about “Children In Need” and Liam’s performance.

It was fantastic; I doubt he forgot his words, more to the fact that he just couldn’t hear his queue at the start of the song!

Well I'm off to see the show again tomorrow with a few others from this board! I can't wait

I hope that James will be performing the role of "Billy" as I've not seen him in ages.

I will post a review on Sunday with hopefully more photos to add to the gallery page on the Billy Elliot fansite.

Until the next time... enjoy watching "Children In Need" tonight, in the hope that "Billy" will be on!

I'm not to sure if this would be the case if Billy Elliot was on the likes of "Children in Need" as this would be a one-off performance.

If "Billy" did ever over run, I'm sure it could be a very interesting situation to witness!

By the way Felix, where did you get your pictures from in your thumbnail?

Accord - these clips are great. Thank you for posting them.

Felix - in answer to your question, it is true that the younger cast members in any current West End show can't stay and perform after 10:30 pm.

This could quite easily happen in Billy Elliot. I was talking to one of the chaperones at the stage door of the Victoria Palace not so long ago who was saying that they were just about to go on stage and pull the children out as the show over-ran to 10:45 pm.
