I hope everone who wants to go gets the chance. It's a lot of fun, but remember its only 2 hours and I can practically guarantee that you will be so excited you won't remember it. I would suggest going twice if you can, once in the cheap seats to get the idea of what it is all about and then the second time as up front and center as you can get. The mezzanine seats are excellent, extending to about row 8 on the floor. He also teases the folks up there a couple of times, so you won't feel left out.

Try to get seats along the left side of the center row. The chart is here http://www.broadway-theater-tickets.com/includes/Theater/imperial_theater.htm You want to be able to bolt for the doors on the left that open onto 46th street where the stage door is. Go out the doors on the left, make an immediate right and you will see the stage door with his big black SUV. He starts signing to HIS right as he comes out the door, then he signs on the left. I was on his left and had to practically crawl into the big dumpster there. Try to work your way to the front, but don't shove. If Hugh sees you being polite to someone you get brownie points and a smile.

He's one of the Good Guys and after the fiasco with Governor Grope we need a hero.

Peace,
Jane

I have no idea what time he arrives, but you could station yourself by the back door at least an hour ahead of time. The stage door is on 46th St. and is the small door to the left of the big brass doors. When we were there it had a dumpster next to it. Charming ambiance. You can then turn going away from Broadway and cut through a parking lot to get to the front of the theater.

On exit he autographs first to his right coming out the door and then *his* left. I'd heard this in another

Demographics checking in.

My husband and I are new in the area and this was our first Broadway production, but not our first play/musical as we have seen touring companies and summerstock many times. We did primarily go because we are fans of Hugh Jackman -- the man and the actor. Like Hugh and Deborra we are also in an older woman/younger man marriage and appreciate the good press he has given our slightly unusual type of relationship. But we also went because we heard the buzz that i

My husband and I caught the matinee on Saturday, Oct. 5th. We sat second row center amid a sea of people who had not heard of this Hugh Jackman. guy. We were the only ones who were not "Theatah People" and we listened as our neighbors critiqued all the top shows that they had attended as well as the actors whose autographs they had gotten. They were merciless and we found ourselves explaining Hugh's background and credentials...no he didn't get hired because he's a movie star...
