I want to say that was about 2, maybe 3 weeks ago or so?

Earliest people got there at about 4:00 I think... those who got the last tickets and had gotten there at like 5:00 AM. I was towards the back of the line but that's what I had heard!

Everyone who got the center front row slept out there all night and the rest of the front row was gone by about 4:45 this morning. I'm pretty sure the boxes were also gone shortly after 5am.

Just out of curiosity, are they still handing out the wrist bands at rush or was that a one time thing?

I was front row on the side last night and thought the view was pretty darn good, I could only imagine second row center to be better.

Did Morgan Weed ever play the role? I could totally see that.

She went on a few times when Jenn was sick at Second Stage. She was wonderful and I wish she could have continued with the show.

There are no gunshots whatsoever.

Any other reports on the stage door? Is Laura still coming out (and signing/taking pics) or has the stalker-issue resurfaced?

I didn't stage door yesterday but did hang around in the lobby after for some time and happened to see most of the cast come out and talk with people, including Laura.

The crib never had any impact on the show whatsoever. It made an appearance for less than 10 seconds and for no reason. The music box and the music behind is enough for the audience to understand she's remembering Gabe. I was so glad to finally see the crib gone last night and I hope it stays that way.

I also saw this yesterday and I enjoyed it a lot! The play itself was hysterical. I found myself laughing out loud the entire course of the play and the rest of the audience seemed to do the same. At times some of the jokes got to be a bit overdone (especially in act II) but overall they flowed well.

Laura was stellar and fit that character like a glove. She really is the glue that holds everyone together.

Kristine managed to steal a lot of the show for me. Every single action

^That's what they performed at the Lucille Lortel Awards so I would say that's a definite possibility.

Not sure why but yesterday they definitely checked for id's. It seemed like everyone that was there had a student id though so it wasn't an issue. Also there are 26 seats with the front row and the boxes.

The Marquis stage door is on 45th... kind of between that Sunglass Hut place and the little Broadway store that's there. Take a look at the pictures on the first page from Cry Baby, they should help.

Although Next to Normal performed I Am The One at the Lucille Lortel Awards last year... just for thought...
re: Heidi at TLM Tonight?
 Jan 28 2009, 10:10:39 AM
So does anyone know who the conductor was tonight?
I think it was Greg Anthony... if I remember correctly.

Heidi was wonderful. She brought so much spark to the role and although she's not the best vocally, it didn't affect anything. She can sing the role fine and I prefer her choices over Sherie's. I enjoy Sherie a lot and love her dry humor but it never quite fit with Ursula for me. Heidi is hysterical and yet still evil and I thought her performance was great!

re: SHREK RUSH- Current Situation?
 Jan 24 2009, 11:59:15 PM
Got rush for this tonight at 7:50. The seats were the last row of the orchestra on the side but the view was great! I didn't miss anything at all and had a clear view of the stage.
re: Next to Normal fans... Cast Recording news!
 Jan 22 2009, 09:22:02 AM
Well, weren't cast members saying it was getting a recording while at Second Stage?

The only thing I ever heard at Second Stage was that they wanted to record a cd, not that it was actually happening. And by the end of the run the cd wasn't happening since they knew they were planning on taking the show out of town and working on it more. I think the cd was only mentioned when they thought they might be transferring to broadway right after Second Stage.

The show for the
