Jeanette went on for first time as Dionne on Wednesday matinee and was beyond incredible! I do really hope they are preparing to move her up to Dionne when the cast changes.

The opinions are completely all over the map, it's true, but I think that often happens with shows with big fan bases like this. While I haven't seen the show 50 times, I've certainly seen it more than the "casual viewer".

Having seen almost all the "Sherries" now, I have to say that Amy and Kerry are at the top of my list. Amy totally had that bit of a rock edge and was a bit tougher in a way & I've always loved her voice. Kerry does a fabulous job, and her voice fit the material even better than I imagined. She's not the best dancer, which everyone knows, but I kind love her more spastic style only because she makes it work for her. She's VERY funny with it. Both these ladies had the "star quality" that I just d

I had seen on a previous press release that Jeremy Kushnier was also listed among the performers, anyone know if he's still slated to be there, too?

Hertz sings part of Keep On Loving You in Act 2, I guess since it was only a small part of the song they didn't put it on the CD. Not sure. The music from Kiss Me Deadly is used in the background of one of the stripclub scenes. Stacee Jaxx used to sing a part of it off-Broadway, but for Broadway they just use the music.

Constantine was on for the show last night, and sounded great. I thought Jeremy Jordan did a really great job at the park, however having seen his Drew before, he wasn't quite at the level he normally is. His voice is incredible- absolutely just as strong as Constantine. Mitchell Jarvis was on last night in the show too, but definitely sounded like he was just getting over something- which I'd guess is why he didn't do the park.

I don't think this had been posted on this thread so thought I'd add it in. From Don't Quit Your Night Job http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVdxmknvsFA sooo hilarious!! Definitely was the highlight of that night.

re: Which lotto is easier for a Sunday? Hair or West Side? Jul 19

haha, only at Hair though, usually I'm not the lucky one. Two of the times I played were randomly not very crowded. The first time back in April, just about everyone there got in, so maybe that doesn't really count.

WSS only calls about 9 names, it's 18 tickets. Hair is somewhere around 30 tickets I believe, so your chances are better there. Both lottos tend to be crowded but the odds seem to be better at Hair. I gotten in all 3 times I played Hair lotto, but didn't get into WSS until about the 9th time trying. Good luck at whichever you try!

Don't Stop Believin' - The BROADWAY 'Rock of Ages' Love Thread Apr 13
2009, 09:08:53 PM
Has anyone done the "parties" in the boxes? Just wondering how the view is from there since they are off to the side. I know most of the lotto seats seem to be partial view (to put it mildly) since my friends didn't even know there was a bar in the bar, and couldn't see the digital screen at all-- they still enjoyed it but I was surprised at how much they couldn't actually see. I was just curious if the boxes offer a better view or not.

re: 'Perfect for US': The NEXT TO NORMAL love thread! Apr 4

Like I said, I suppose the moment is intended to be taken more metaphorically, but being that the Dr said that, and she literally was then seen going through baby items and a crib hanging down-- I thought there was supposed to be an actual room. It wasn't until later (if I remember correctly) that they mentioned the old house burning down. I think the lowering of the crib, makes it seem more literal than simply going through a box of things. That's just my feelings on it. No big deal

there's no way Dan would have allowed a room to be set up. There is no way there is an actual room. I completely agree that Dan wouldn't have let her either, but the Doctor does say that it's time to clean out his room. I just find it a bit confusing when the doctor refers to a room that doesn't exist. I only saw the show once, so I'm not trying to be overly picky- I'm just saying what I understood (or didn't) as a first time viewer that's all. It's not a major problem, just some
