Here's a link with some footage from a college and a high school production that was on BWayWorld TV a while back to advertise the rights now being available.

Definitely look at Stranger to the Rain from CHILDREN OF EDEN. (And let us know what you choose and how it goes!)
A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC'S reopening tonight....

ColorTheHours, is it really TWO tickets per student ID? The ALNM website says 1 ticket per ID. You really just got 2 tickets with one ID? Oh, please say it's so!! :)

Edit:
I just found the thread devoted to rush tickets--looks like it is indeed TWO per valid student ID. I'm a happy camper!

Question about the voting in Drood
 Jun 1 2010, 04:23:22 PM
BWfan7000, where did you see Drood? I also saw a wonderful regional production last year where they tallied the votes that way.
Nicole Scherzinger on Broadway?

In the Heights, maybe?
Night Music Closing
 May 20 2010, 05:08:11 PM
So sad to see that it's closing June 20. Do you think the show could have survived without "big stars" to replace Zeta-Jones and Lansbury?
why speculate?
 May 20 2010, 04:45:56 PM
Does anyone think the fact that the show is closing on June 20 could hurt her chances for a Tony? As far as absences go, do you think that since she's a "short-timer" now, she may take more absences?

Copied and pasted from the SETC Auditions website:

Monologues That Are Done Too Much:
"Anal Probe" | "Jockstrap" | "Tuna Fish Sandwich" | "Jesus Picture"

So, at least at those particular unifieds, companies have indicated that it's overdone. I would keep looking if I were you.

Brilliant! Thanks so much for sharing that--Lin Manuel is genius!

I agree that this is fantastic! And Yankeefan, I must ask, is it a bad thing to generate ticket sales? I think not. :)

re: Free Toxic Avenger Ticket For Tonight

Wow. I just saw this. If this ticket is still available, someone should RUN to the theatre to see it. I had the pleasure of seeing the final preview performance this weekend and it was fabulous....Nancy Opel's brilliant performance is reason enough to go!

I agree with Eris. And I always have to scratch my head when someone asks, "will it be worth it to audition?" You really have to decide that for yourself....BUT I always say, "You can't win if you don't enter!"

Totally agree about The Producers and The Full Monty. I saw them both and just hated it for The Full Monty that The Producers just about owned the Tony's that year, because I thought The Full Monty was delightful.
