At POTO a few years ago, I saw Rebecca Pitcher as Christine and she made a few fubars in the lyrics as well as being off pitch throughout half the show. In the title song, she sang "My spirit and my voice", which threw off Howard McGillin but luckily they got back for the last few measures of the song. Then in Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again, she sang "Too many ears, fighting back years"..Oy! Then, my friend and I weren't sure if it was an accident or on purpose, but after the Wandering Chil

I love Asa too. He's got a lot of talent and is absolutely wonderful to his fans. After DOTV closed, a friend and I emailed him on his site just to say hi and we thought he did a good job in a non-annoying gushy way. He responded immediately and was very gracious.

re: Have you ever gotten bored at a play or musical? If so, what was it? Jun 28
2005, 02:09:57 PM
The only show I've ever gotten bored at was one my boyfriend was involved in in high school called "Romeo and Juliet, and Hamlet too". It was a HORRIBLE show, stupid plot and book was just...*shudder* even the actors thought it was bad and their lines were delivered apologetically. I wanted to leave at intermission, well actually 10 minutes in lol But I promised him that I'd come see his show so I just let my mind wander until the pain was over.

I saw the tour twice back in May and it was wonderful. I'm not a fan of Pitcher's, so she was okay for me as Christine. I thought Gary was an awesome phantom and its well worth the money.
