Just saw the tour production of Sweeney in Chicago this week. I looked up Ben because I found his portrayal of the Beadle exceedingly sexy, not something I would usually expect out of the role! In the original (non-revival) Broadway production, the Beadle was a chubby older guy, fairly unattractive.
