have you seen the show? the mics don't work well. the music is too loud, so you don't hear the lyrics. the set doesn't make any sense. there is no story. the choreography is terrible. quite honestly, it looked like a musical review you would do in high school. there is one little story that happens in the end, which comes out of absolutely nowhere. and then, there is no play on it once it's revealed.

Hey all, I was able to see the show this afternoon. What a disaster? That's coming from me, as well, as a whole host of people I heard talking during intermission and afterward. The ushers saw me with the Post open, and wanted to read it during the show. At intermission, one usher came back and told me Michael Reidel was in the audience today. I saw him after the show. I asked what he thought, and his response was (with rolling eyes), I hope they have enoug

re: bye bye birdie question Oct 19

Tbe reason why it had changed many times is because when the show was in try-outs and travelling throughout the USA, middle americal was not very keen on such an ethnic name. The use "Grant" was fine for smaller cities. When hitting Broadway, those close to the production felt that it would be much more relevant that if she was Spanish, that she should have a Spanish last name. It made the show much more culturally diverse. Ever notice, in West Side Story, there are no last names?

He's doing it to be a good sport and help out the production instead of them having problems. Dreyfuss has been known to bail out at last minute.

Bring Nathan back to Broadway. Don't send him to Londong because Richard Dreyfuss sucks.

re: Resume question Sep 30

If you are going to be creating a resume, try to use paper that is labeled 25 or 30 lb. You can always used colored, but make absolutely sure that it is such a pale shade that you could easily mistake it as white. As for staples... NEVER USE THEM. Invest in an artists glue stick. Anything that can be cleaner looking is much more worth getting kept.

Barney is being cast as Roger DeBris. This should be good for when they start shooting The Producers in Brooklyn.

The understudy shows up for all the performances unlike Donna M (oh, I shouldn't spill it).

The best part of the show is when Barney sings "Defying Gravity."

Dracula Commercial. Sep 25

What is with this commercial sponsored by Dodger Productions? "Does broadway have a brand new blockbuster? I'm Mary Denim back with the Broadway Buzz. The new season has barely begun, and a new sensation has already taken off. Dracula. The new musical that opened this summer has been stunning crowds here with it's spectacular effects and ravishing music." Crowds? They play to 44%. Ravishing Music? What show is she talking about? No show is doing well when the
