I always love the personal reviews of audiance members, vs the critics. But in this thread in a comment about Bernadette Peters, there was a reference to her staying in to help "Janie find her dentures", who are you talking about? Others here seem to have caught on, but keep in mine a lot of us are not in NYC and don't follow the Broadway gossip as closely as you....?

Try as I have I still can not get a connection to the Passion CD. I have tried on different occassions to listen to the whole CD and always end up getting bored, hoping for a "big number" or a song that stands out in my memory.
Has anyone seen this production, and if so can you give me a clearer view of what I can not see/hear?...
I will watch for the DVD as another chance to enjoy this work.

Our Town on Showtime

I was surprised that Paul Newman was nominated for a Tony as the Stage Manager in Our Town, I thought that the performance of the Choirmaster was the true stand out performance in this revival. Hope you all have a chance to see this Broadway to Cable program Saturday night.

The new Olive Garden TV ads have a very excited and outspoken star...as the newly citizenized Italian Uncle, Dick Latessa.
No Edna Turnblat in sight or maybe she is too busy eating to chime in with his jovial rantings about being family and eating homoginized Italian faire.
Are there any other Broadway Stars doing TV commercials currently?

I had been away from the other board for a week or so, and totally by accident read a post referring to the closing and the switch that many members were making to this site.
I feel badly for others that did not have the chance to realize that the other board was really heading for an end. And I want to thank Rob for this amazing effort and such a great result.
