Audition Help!
 Jun 20 2011, 01:57:12 PM
I live in Orlando Fl. and down here they are having auditions for Avenue Q. Just wanted to know what would be good audition songs for this musical. I'm a tenor and I'm looking at the character of Princeton/Rod. Thanks for the help!

Those parties senior year I thought we ruled the world
You funneled all that beer
I held your head when you hurled
We were like Gods back then
walking among common men
Tell me why can't it be
that way again?

I think what I like most about the show is Nathan, but other than that I have fallen for the score, Andrew Lippa is a wonderful composer!

Usemay I knew what you meant, but to say that if she was homophobic she wouldn't be doing theater give off that sort of insinuation!

That's such a stereotype usemay, not everyone who does theater is gay and it doesn't matter if she worked at a gay bar IT WAS WRONG and she should not have said it!

I would say when dealing with Rent or Les Mis. they would be considered through-composed musicals, where there is some talking, and the rest is sung kinda like Caroline, or Change.
