Hi,
I was wondering if You're welcome America still does Student Rush? I know at one point they were selling out so they weren't doing it. Also IF they are still doing rush how have the lines been and where are the seats usually located? (Orc Mezz?)
Don't know about rush, but I do know they have SRO.

O I didn't know they had SRO.
Is SRO usually hard to get? (I know the show is usually sold out I just checked TC for 4 different dates and got nothing for any of them). What time does the line start forming for SRO? Do they sell it when the BO opens, or like 2 hours b4 the show?
Also Do they hold aside rush seats or is it only if it's not sold out?
Standing room is for when shows are sold out usually. But I guess if you go when the BO opens, you could get tickets.

Greetings,
I was at the box office on Friday hoping to get a rush/SRO seat.
This is what is going on. Due to the fact that there are now less than 30 seats available for this show, all student rush tickets for actual sit down seats are no longer available. That said, they have reserved ALL of the Standing Room Only tickets as Student Rush tickets.
The next available performance for non Student Rush tickets for the SRO positions is this upcoming Friday. The only seats left for the entire run are the $250-300 premium seats.
There are only a small handful of SRO positions that are given away to the students. They are all gone within a few minutes of the box office opening. There are far more people that line up for tickets than there are tickets available.
If you are a student and want a rush ticket for SRO, you may want to get there way before the box office opens. I happened to have just missed the last available ticket for last Friday's performance - very disappointing.

LO AND BEHOLD.
How many times do I have to mention that ALL student rush tickets are standing room only?

Ugh. Who cares? It'll air on HBO and it's just one long Bush joke. Pass. I'm not waking up early for this.
I woke up for the rush on Sunday. I was there over two hours early and was the first in line. About an hour prior to the box office's opening, there was a pretty significant line behind me (although, there are two Sunday performances). It was absolutely worth the wait though, because I'm a huge Ferrell fan and the show is a scream! My standing room ticket was perfect. I was in the center at the back of the mezzanine. Perfect sightlines and not too high up, and I'm someone who doesn't usually like being in the balconies.
And in case anyone wants to know, Ferrell signed and took pictures for everyone in the crowd. He couldn't have been nicer.

Where are the SRO spots? I've never heard of SRO spots being in the mezz. Do they always do this? They're usually at the back of the ORC.
Do they have ORC SRO?
