I'm seeing the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels tour sometime in the next two weeks.
And I'm hoping to see Grey Gardens soon, as well as seeing Spring Awakening again and Wicked for Julia, Kendra, and Sebastian. I'll also be seeing the slew of shows that are going to pass through Boston.
Definitely see GG again. I've seen it several times and take away something different each time. It's amazing and Christine Ebersole's performance alone is worth seeing again. (Live theater, unlike other forms of entertainment, changes a great deal with each performance, depending on audience, actors, etc.) Also-those of you who haven't seen it, go! It's an experience you won't soon forget.
"A birdcage I plan to hang. I'll get to that someday. A birdcage for a bird who flew away...Around the world."
"Life is a cabaret old chum, only a cabaret old chum, and I love a cabaret!"-RIP Natasha Richardson-I was honored to have witnessed her performance as Sally Bowles.

I really want to see these shows, but unfortunately, most of these are limited engagements, and I'm not sure if I'm able to go to New York this summer. :

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."
-John Guare, Landscape of the Body
I have tickets to see: Drowsy Chaperone, Spring Awakening, and Curtains.
I hope to see: Pirate Queen, Legally Blonde, Journey's End, In the Heights, Spamalot, LoveMusik, 110 in the Shade, Grey Gardens...the list goes on and on...
I don't really work 'lists' -- I think that's too much, but when an opportunity presents itself, and I have enough $ in the account, I'll splurge from time-to-time. I have to work around my rehearsal schedule(s), writing conferences, family to-do's, classes, etc. So far, 2007 looks to be like a good year for me. I figure I'll have 6 shows under my belt all before the first week of May ends.

The following is a list of shows I would like to see well-after May (late-May, into the summer, and autumn months):
LOVEmusik DEUCE Legally Blonde The Pirate Queen (June, or possibly July, for my 20th b-day) Young Frankenstein
Top 5 want to see...no particular order - A Chorus Line - Beauty & The Beast( before it closes ) - Little Mermaid( When it opens in NY) - Avenue Q - Legally Blond ( I'm really curious about this show)
Basically my time line is whenever I can get to NYC again. My to-see list is:
Spring Awakening (twice - once from regualar seats and once from onstage) The Color Purple Les Miserables Mary Poppins A Chorus Line Legally Blonde Hairspray The Pirate Queen And Wicked again (no surprise there)
Spring Awakening(April 2nd and sometime in May; seeing with my Intro to Theatre and Play Production classes) SpamAlot(April 26th with Acting class) Jersey Boys(hopefully for JLY's "last" show) Curtains Grease Young Frankenstein
Worrell4077: Ah, yes! Grease! xD See, I don't know if I'm even going to want to bother. I mean, now that they (quite foolishly, I would say!) booted off Chad, I only bother watching the show for Max. (Although when Allie sang--whatever Bjork song she sang that one time, the "It's oh so quiet!" one--I immediately loved her forever... until she got boring again.)
