According to their website, it is ONCE...

...which Pittsburgh CLO is also doing as part of their 2019 Summer Series, as well as the National Tour of HELLO, DOLLY!

I have wanted to be a subscriber but since they always seem to have the shows that I want to see as add ons, there has never been a reason to and this season is the same. So again, no Miss Saigon, no Dear Evan Hansen, no The Band's Visit, no plays. Wondering if either of those will be add ons? And still secretly hoping that Les Miz will come around again.

ETA: i see someone beat me to the announcement, I apologize!!

Did just go on the Boston website and clicked on the "shows" tab to see if they updated early. They always have Blue Man Group and Shear Madness listed on the bottom since they're local shows that run constantly, then below is is "Hamilton" with an option for tickets and learn more. No dates, link for tickets sent to the touring page for Hamilton on Ticketmaster, but interesting none the less! Would be great if it returned so quickly.

Buffalo is announcing tomorrow night- they're having an event at Shea's for current subscribers. If I had to guess, I'll bet we're getting Mean Girls, Anastasia, Summer, Hello Dolly, and Escape to Margaritaville, probably with Les Mis and Play That Goes Wrong as add ons maybe? Come From Away still hasn't come here, but I'm not sure if they will with how long they were in Toronto. And I wouldn't be surprised if there was another classic musical like My Fair Lady in place of one of the new ones, because I feel like they like having two reliable ones per season.

Mike: off-topic, but if you’re interested in seeing Once in Boston and aren’t aware, there’s an excellent production of it currently running at the Calderwood, put on by SpeakEasy... it’s there through April 7

At the Benedum Center now. The wind is kicking it down the streets and the windchill is only at 39°. People already in line 30 minutes before they open the main entry doors. Show starts at 7:30pm.

Odd they didn't announce the dates for Detroit.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Will do! One free drink coupon (including wine) and a steel drum band playing on the upper level. What’s not to like!

The whole season was announced on Twitter.

The rest includes Come From Away, The Band’s Visit, Fiddler on the Roof, Anastasia, Cats, Mean Girls, and Summer: The Donna Summer Musical.

Speaking of, does anyone know which specific dates The Lion King is supposed to play?

Boston:

The Lion King: Oct 3-27, Boston Opera House (Add on)

Come From Away November 5-17, Boston Opera House

Cats: January 7-19, 2020, Boston Opera House

Mean Girls, Jan 28- Feb 9, 2020, Boston Opera House

Fiddler On The Roof: Feb 25- Mar 8, 2020, Emerson Colonial Theatre

Jersey Boys: March 18- 22, 2020, Emerson Colonial Theatre (Add on)

The Band's Visit: March 24- April 5, 2020, Boston Opera House

Chicago: May 5-10, 2020, Emerson Colonial Theatre (Add on)

Anastasia: July 7-19, 2020, Boston Opera House

Summer: The Donna Summer Musical: August 4-16, 2020, Boston Opera House

Not going to lie, bit disappointed. Wish we got JCS or My Fair Lady or OOTI instead of Fiddler or Cats, but I've never seen either so I am willing to give them a try. Only shows that get me excited are Come From Away and The Band's Visit.
