GO TO SCHOOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please....I don't know if your talented or not but I really suggest going to school and having a back up plan will can benefit anyone in the theatre business..but don't let what I wrote discourage you. I would hate to see a young person lost and without a place to live because the show he was in closed.

even though i posted those two options, i totally agree with unmasked. you need to get a hell of a lot of training before you hit the audition circuit in NYC.

Not to jump on you again...and I hope I'm not being harsh, but..

I've seen kids who are 16 go to auditions and they may be the "stuff" where they come from but they forget that there are other kids who think they are the "stuff" also and then they all get to auditions with people who are veterans of the stage in NYC and they aren't as great as they think. But like I said don't let me not discourage you from trying out because it can be a BIG eye opener for people who haven't auditioned in NYC and it could also help you improve your craft.

but also.....seek a Higher Education...I can never stress that enough. The cost of living in New York is HIGH and NO JOKE and with you being so young and not having a diploma..people there could really take advantage of you.

No problem. I deff. am not try to rely on this at all. I am planning on go to an arts college such as NYU because I am very into art and film and have taken courses in both as well as part of a gifted program at our modern arts museum. The signing is more of a passion and a hobby and I would just like to go try out to get the feel for it and gert some feedback. Of course im not expecting alot but it's just something I would really like to do. Anyways thanks for the suggestions.

Also does anyone know if I can get the Backstage paper sent to my house. I get it whenever I go into NY but I havent found a number to subscribe for it. Thanks.
