Today's date is 7/11
Therefore, if you go to your local 7-Eleven, they will be giving out free and discounted slurpees.
Yay!
Go get a slurpee and think of me.
{I'm on holiday, (er, I mean, stuck in Phantom2's basement) but I got ahold of a computer so that you all might take advantage of today, as I will not be able to. Darn.}

Aww, Flowery, some of us aren't lucky enough to have 7 Eleven stores. Strangely enough, New York City is curiously absent of their presence...and, thus, slurpees are hard to come by here. It makes me very sad. I'll be in Florida in a few days and will have a celebratory slurpee a few days late.

Posted: 7/11/04 at 12:46pmThe 7-11 in my town( Park Forest,Illinois)sells more Slurpees than any other store in the world - they've held that honor for the past five years. They have three machines with four flavors each - that's right, your choice of TWELVE FLAVORS! The place gets crazy on hot summer days, especially after little league games when the coach treats the team to Slurpees.

Posted: 7/11/04 at 12:48pmI JUST ran down there to get some cooking spray (because I was out and had something that needed to cook right away) and spent $4 on a half size can of it, so I was happy when I got my free Diet Coke Slurpee!

I'm so glad so many people took advantage of this!
Yay!
I was, fortunately, able to get a slurpee on the road, on my way back from, um, Phantom2's basement.
Raspberry.
It was excellent.

Oh my Cher, it took me TWO DAYS to get out.
Thank goodness I learned in Girl Scouts how to rip duct tape with my bare hands.
I just had to get out and get a slurpee, though.
I never could pass up a freebie.
Even back in the scouts.

Matt, I never made it past the "junior" girl scouts...
We were never instructed in "freebies"
But they did teach us to be ruthless in sales.
I might have to risk revisiting Phantom's house just to ring up a couple of boxes.
