Ok, I go to a musical theatre college in Canada, and we are taking a "theatre study tour" down to NYC to see shows, visit colleges, and all that jazz.

(We're staying on 45th street a block away from Times Square)

If theres anything that I CANNOT go without seeing when I'm down there, please let me know.

Also, where abouts is the best place to get I <3 NY t-shirts and souvenirs like that....seriously, I have no idea about any of this stuff and its making me feel useless.

I'm planning to get up super early in the morning and go wait in line for tickets for shows like Spamalot, DRS, WICKED and such...what are the chances of me actually getting into these shows? I know I'm not going to have much of an issue getting into most of the ones I want to go see, but these ones I'm a little worried about.

Does NY usually get insanely busy during spring break?

So heres my epic novel of questions. I hope some of you can answer them.

Thanks everyone <3

DRS and Wicked have lottos about 2 hours before showtime. If you enter and win, you can get up to 2 front-row tickets for less than $30 each. I think Spamalot sells SRO tickets on days when the show is sold out.

Are you doing lottery for those shows, buying tickets at the box office, cancellation tickets, or standing room?

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels lottery is fairly easy to win, although not completely foolproof, Wickeds is nearly impossible, Spamalot doesn't have one, but if you get there early enough you're bound to get standing room.

So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.~Office Space

If you're into any off broadway shows, you can usually get into Altar Boyz. It hasn't been selling out, but it's really good and lots of fun!

DRS lotto is for box seats, not front row.

Cat, I thought you would have said something.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel.
