these were the dark days of the ot board, the so-called dog days of summer when even the american league's shellacking of the national league was not enough to rouse the downtrodden from the gloom of the months (plural) ahead. so they carried on, lit from within by the hope of a brighter future, a promised land...the end of summer break.

Okay. Sorry. Getting a bit dorky. That was our "jingle" last year. I go back to Pebblebrook on August 9th. I hate how all of you have until September. When did you get out. I got out in May. I forget the exact day.
