...yet one that is wracking my brain nonetheless.

I was talking to a friend the other day and, somehow, the subject got onto the subject of John Ritter and how shocking his death was. Then, my friend began wondering how many people would associate his death with the song "Rollercoaster of Love". I inquire why this would be. He says, "Because John Ritter had a heart attack on a roller coaster, didn't he?" I deny this. I look it up and, sure enough, John Ritter had a heart attack while filming a TV show.

My question is this:

Whose death did my friend mix up John Ritters' with?

Unfortunately, several people have had heart attacks while riding roller coasters over the years.

That's why they put those large warning signs up on every single one of them.

you're thinking of mama cass. but the he in the story was a she. and she died from choking on a sandwich. only not really. and she died in california, where disneyland was born, and they have rollercoasters there. so that's prolly where the confusion came in. prolly.

Didn't Mikey die on a rollercoaster while eating Pop Rocks?

RobbO, you're the one that's confused. It was Tootie who died, and she was rollerskating, not on a rollercoaster.
