Ok, here it goes again. Me and my sister are talking about this awhile ago... Imagine... Wicked producers finally decide to make a movie, or they are looking for another Elphie, and they are to cast a pop star (impossible. though Joe Mac made it) who should it be... my vote, all hands to KELLY CLARKSON!
Can you just imagine her singing Defying Gravity? or No Good Deed?
Ok, I dont know if she can do Elphie acting wise... But I would really love to hear her sing Defying Gravity. Being green would be a good look for her too!
With all the success she's having, why dont she make an all broadway cover album? Sales of it will be in question, but it can open other people to broadway magic right?

First: Its "my sister and I" not "me and my sister" and "why doesnt she" not "why dont she". Theyre pet peeves of mine.
Second: This is your opinion and thats great and all, but this really isnt the place to put it. You'll see what I mean when ppl start commenting...

This statement implies that Kelly Clarkson has some sort of interest in opening other people to Broadway magic. Is this true? Has she gone on the record saying something to this effect? If not, why would she? As you yourself said, sales would be questionable, so if she doesn't have an interest in it, what would be in it for her?

Posted: 2/19/06 at 5:12pmTo be kind here, Kelly's voice outside of the pop world, and when she was in her Idol days was pure and Broadway-bound. Personally, I really thought she deserved Broadway. She probably still has the Broadway capability. I would love to see her on the Great White Way, but Wicked? Eh, maybe when they ticket sales die down and it's near a final leg.
