The girlfriend sent me a video of Swedish Idol. This chick comes in and sings an original song that basically says something like, "I see your va-jay-jay and it's hairy and pretty." She just repeats something to that effect over and over. Good times.

Scott (the blind guy) sounds pretty good! I like him; I'd like to see where he goes in this competition.
I always end up watching the auditions and only come back for the top twelve at the end. I hope we get some more... interesting people.

Oh, Mr. Seacrest...
I still can't get over the way he reacted to Bikini Girl. He came off as both sleazy and cold at the same time. Like Richard Nixon.

But yes, I loved the Blind Guy. (I love how we have all these names for everyone). I find it ironic that he's blind, and his eyes are so beautiful.
And yeah, the Wanted Dead or Alive was hilarious.

Ok, so Kara's actually pretty fierce and I really like her. Just sayin' :) And she's super pretty and has a really nice voice too!
not too impressed with the talent so far, but it's still early on!

I was napping so I missed the first twenty minutes of the show, but woke up in time for "Baracuda" girl.
Out of everyone, though, I liked the blind guy (Scott) the best. Bikini girl was too much. She'll be out by the first round. (Who knows, though, she could be like that chick last season or the season before who was super pretty but didn't have that great a voice and managed to make it past the first few rounds).

Posted: 1/13/09 at 11:15pmThat high five was a bit awkward. So was the kiss. he didn't seem into it. I get sucked intot he auditions and then I may watch the last 4 or 5 shows if people are talking about a certain or certain contestants. Last year I only watched the final 2 shows.

I don't mind Kara too much. Bikini girl was just obnoxious, I didn't mind her competing with her.
Emily and Scott are definitely my favorites.

The contestant who was afraid of the judges had me on the floor with his singing. It looked like he was writhing in pain!
The girl in the pink hat kind of looked like if Miley Cyrus ended up being raised up at Barbie's Cattle Ranch. But she had a bubbly personality though.
My favorite singers of the night were Baracuda girl, Scott, and (literally), out of the closet guy.

Posted: 1/14/09 at 2:00amI only caught the last part of it. I liked Scott the best. I was very suprised (and thrilled) to learn that an Osmond had auditioned. I had a feeling it was David (Alan's son), from the 2ndG Osmonds, (AKA - The Osmond Boys, back in the early 90's). He will be on the Salt Lake audition show. Now I'll definately be watching this season. He has an amazing voice, and is freaking gorgeous! Just picture a younger, taller, better looking Donny Osmond. That's David.

The only person I thought was any good (that I saw) was Scott. I missed the one who sang Barracuda, so i might have liked her too.
There were some people that they let through that I didn't understand why they did. Most of the people they let through were eh at best. There was a girl near the end they loved who had the most annoying warble. I hope the other auditions are better...

I really like the new judge, Kara. I think it's great to finally have a real singer on the panel.
I did find it akward that she was about to have a sing off with bikini girl, but I kind of loved it too. Bikini girl was so delusional and Simon and Randy didn't do her any favors by putting her through. They basically just gave her a free all expenses paid trip to Hollywood.
I love that Kara said, "Alright, bitch. I'm gonna show you."
