I wish I had never gone to my allergist! So I look like a heroin addict with all the little needle marks all over my arms. Then the results come back and I am allergic to
All trees
mold
tobacco
all grass
horses
all water plants
dust mites
ragweed
pyrethrum
cats (obviously)
dogs (too bad I will cope with that- but it was a very mild reaction)
all fall weeds
cockroaches (yuck)
dust
beef
veal
pork
all fish
shellfish
grapefruit
orange
lemon
line
tangerine
grape
raisin
apple
almond
pear
cherry
banana
mushrooms
wheat
milk
coffe
peanuts

Plus! I have asthma and I have to get allergy shots every week, I have a wice daily inhaler plus an emergency inhaler and eye drops adn nasal spray and I have to get rid of my other cat! Why didn't I skip this appointment?

I know it's a pain, but better off that you know. You'll feel so much better now that you can get them probably treated.

I'm a mess today - I feel like I'm getting sick, but I think it's just allergies. I ran out of my medicine for a few days, and today was my first day back on it, but I still can't stop sneezing. I *really* hope I'm not getting sick.

Is that considered lactose intolerant? I am sorry I am only allergic to grass pollen and dust.

Poor thing..I feel your pain...as soon as I walked in the door I took my claratin D which I have to still take on top of everything else...

I use Claritin D. I got some grass in my eye and used Visene A which immediately reduced the redness.

Curious - they tested you for milk, but the result is lactose intolerance? I thought they were totally separate?

well they didn't say that it was, but I thought that they were one and the same...who knows. That one reacted very very badly though. I thought it would never stop itching

Be careful - lactose intolerance is exactly as it sounds. It's an intolerance to LACTOSE, which is a sugar that just so happens to be found in milk. Usually, lactose intolerance means you'll get sick to your stomach or something. A milk ALLERGY is from a lack of "immunity" so to speak to an actual protein in the milk, usually the one called casein, but there are many, many others, as well as other names that you need to avoid when you're reading ingredient labels, etc. That's what I have. And if it's serious enough, it can be really dangerous.

I've drank milk my whole life with no probs til recently and that has been more of an intolerance thing..messed up stomach etc..so I dunno. My mom was tested for allergies and she was allergic to all sorts of foods too according to the doctor but has never had any problems...

Well, they can be hidden for any point in time, and then suddenly show up. OR, they can just be very mild and not cause reaction. So... yeah - probably lactose intolerance, but if that one reacted badly, I'd keep a close eye and talk to the doctor about it.

wow kel, i'm REALLY sorry... i suffer from allergies too... a lot, but not like that list (but then im not allergic to foods, so i got lucky there). i go for a shot once a month and it sucks... best of luck to you and i hope you can overcome a lot of those!

i'm sorry. I get allergy shots every weak to make you feel somewhat better even though i know it probablly won't.

I am feeling alot better since I took my nasal spray and my eye drops I am taking my Advair in about 30 min, I am just kind of worried. I am starting to have a slight astham attack, I can feel my chest tightening up and I feel weird but I am scared to us my inhaler and then like 20 min later take the advair..I'm just going to stick it out I guess...

So one day after going through allergy testing hell I feel miraculously better. I seriously feel as though I have never had allergies. I hope this keeps up.

yikes kel.......I feel for you. If milk bothers your stomach, sounds like more lactose intolerant.......
I take claritin, but not D....that makes me loopy.
I have a cousin who is allergic to most of what you are......

I have to have the D or else I am miserable. Life is pretty good today though, I can breathe and I'm not sneezing or sniffling. It's kind of shocking to feel like a normal person for once.
