I was having a lazy Sunday and decided to go to the nearest Blockbuster and rent a movie with Miss Peet, because I was remembering her fantastic performance in Barefoot in the Park. The movie is the ideal movie for a Sunday. A romantic comedy that made me smile. Ashton and Amanda are so cute! Anyone saw it?

And it was on TV today.
I saw the first 15 minutes and changed the channel. I guess I'll have to give it another try, tho.
I saw it and thought it was pretty good.

I thoroughly disliked this movie. But that's just me. And I am a huge fan of the romantic comedy. Pretty much all I watch, but I hated it.
It wasn't on TV in FL. I loved it!

This movie inspired one of the funniest reviews Ebert ever wrote.
Now I shall search for the review.
I watched it to see Tyrone Giordano's performance, and although his part was small (Ashton's deaf brother), he was awesome as always. He played Huck in the recent Deaf West revival of Big River.
I tried to see it in theatres, but there were crazy lines dancing around the screen. So I got my money back and never finished watching it. Although what I did see was nothing like the commericals, so I was confused.
God, that movie is stupid. The only reason I saw it (both in the theatre and on DVD) was to see Ty Giordano.

I always laugh a little when I hear Amanda Peet's name now because I think of her loud performance in Barefoot.
ALIX Mr. Giordano is also quite good in THE FAMILY STONE (i think that was the title, Sarah Jessica Parker plays a cold fish engaged to the son of a family headed by Diane Keaton, meeting them for the first time at Xmas). It's very interesting as well to see Craig T. "Coach" Nelson play against type as a very liberal touchy-feely dad and husband.
I'm really out of touch, I've never even heard of it.
I didn't care for this film at all. I was so excited and saw it in the theatres. Peet's character was selfish and Kutcher's was a doof. It tried to be a modern day "The Way We Were" but never got me caught up. Sorry, muscle, I'm glad you enjoyed it, but it never hooked me.
I thought this movie was HORRIBLE.
