Here is some information from the Daily Kos:
http://www.dailykos.com/
A Texas grand jury on Monday indicted U.S. Rep. Tom DeLay on a new charge of money laundering.
A different grand jury whose term ended last week indicted him on a conspiracy charge, forcing DeLay to temporarily step down as House majority leader.
Both indictments accuse DeLay and two political associates of conspiring to get around a state ban on corporate campaign contributions by funneling the money through the DeLay-founded Texans for a Republican Majority Political Action Committee to the Republican National Committee in Washington. The RNC then sent back like amounts to distribute to Texas candidates in 2002, the indictment alleges.

"A good year, a year of peace, with Delay in jail, and Bush Impeached . . ."
I might just actually pray tonight at Temple.

PJ - you know that you will be celebrated on that day!
From the AP article: "The new indictment, handed up by a grand jury seated Monday, contains two counts: conspiring to launder money and money laundering. The latter charge carries a penalty of up to life in prison."
Life in prison. Life in prison. Life in prison. Life in prison.
The most beautiful words I've ever heard.
Life in prison. Life in prison. Life in prison. Life in prison!

PJ - I have never had a wet dream about these people!
It is very simple to me, the people of the South and Great Plaines and the West will wake up and learn that they are not better off and they will blame who?

Slightly off-topic, but
Just got word that the son of friends of the family has to go do a tour in Iraq. There are special protective boots and kelvar flak jackets that the Army is supposed to be providing to its soldiers but they aren't doing it, so the families have to scrape up the money to try to protect their kids. My brother is buying the boots and vest for the son so at least he will have the best equipment possible to protect him.
Why isn't the Army doing this? What kind of way to run a War is that, not to protect your soldiers? What about the poor soldiers that can't scrape up the money?
Who do we indict for that?
