It actually didn't take up much space. You need to download iBooks & gaming thing from the App Store afterwards.

So far, I'm liking it...took about 1 1/2 hours to download and update. Loving the folders. And a double click of the home button gets to apps that are running or last used, which is nice.

Guess I lucked out. The update only took about ten minutes for me. This was starting the download at about 1:05 pm this afternoon.

Why not get it? I sync my phone with my computer everyday anyway--since it acts as my charger. I was curious to see what IOS 4 was going to look like... on a 3G, there aren't that many differences. I was disappointed... :-/

Seems you can't get the update on a first gen iPhone. Another reason to want the new one!
