What would be an appropriate monologue for a 14-year-old?

I am auditioning in a few weeks for High School Musical, West Side Story, and an unnamed children's production. I have a song already ("I Speak Six Languages" from Spelling Bee, FYI) selected.

I thought of something from Spring Awakening, but I didn't want anything that was TOO dirty. I mean, I'm trying out for kids' shows, after all. And the monologue book I have has monologues that are a bit young for me.

But long story short, I REALLY need a monologue soon so I'll be better prepared for my audition. Any suggestions?

Every living soul has got a voice - you've got to give it room and let it sing.

Go to a book store- there are tons of books full of monologues for teens.
