Auditions for NINE- anyone know anything about the show?

Hi everyone-
There are some auditions coming up near me for NINE the musical, which I am very vaguely familiar with. I am trying to do some research by listening to the soundtrack, but if anyone could tell me something about the female roles in it, the basic story, or what kind of audition music would be appropriate, it would be so helpful!!!!!
