What's a good audition song for Bet in Oliver?

Probably just anything out of classic broadway. I don't know how much you know about the role, but Bet doesn't really do anything except follow Nancy around and look pretty. She might have one solo but I'm pretty sure she doesn't have any lines. I've always wondered how Bet gets cast. I'm pretty sure its just the cutest girl they can find whose just ever so slightly shorter than whoever is playing Nancy.

Bet gets solo singing lines in 'I'd Do Anything' and 'It's A Fine Life', iirc. She has no dialogue whatsoever, which gets pretty funny after a few weeks of rehearsals. Prepare something Cockney and up-tempo; you could probably use the same pieces as a Nancy-auditioner, as the range is the same, but keep it up-tempo.

Yeah you do a lot of dramatic nodding at whatever Nancy is saying, if I recall correctly...
