As a lot of you know, Beyonce plays Etta James in CADILLAC RECORDS and I heard Beyonce's version of "At Last" on the radio the other week and shook my head. While pretty, it sucked all of the soul and longing out of the song. To remind us what greatness is, let the original show everyone how it is done:

Posted: 1/5/09 at 2:30amI saw Beyonce on Ellen's show a little while ago singing this song. I could only hope that it was her interpretation, and not what is presented in the movie as having anything to do with Etta.
