The thing is that with the "log out and back in" fix, well, in order to know the feature isn't working, when you do that, you've already had to endure viewing a post you'd rather not see.
I wish it would work, but also that it'd be foolproof. Even when it IS working, you can still see the blocked posts when you click to post a reply and scroll backward. For people like me who are morbidly curious and easily give in to temptation, that is a bad, bad thing.
