I thought this story was pretty freaky.

I love NatGeo! I am so mad I forgot to watch this.

It's on again later tonight. Yay! And it's followed by a show about the Dead Sea Scrolls, and I will watch just about anything about ancient religion.

I'm hoping it's on all month. I mean, a town in Brazil that is mostly German really opens it up for speculation and conspiracy theories.Considering so many Germans fled to South America I do not find this that far fetched. Of course according to the synopsis online, there are other theories explored.

I watch NatGeo a lot and I freely admit it was at first just because it looks so good in HD, but I'm totally interested in the mindless trivia I get from a lot of it, which I like to feel balances out my usual diet of too much cable news and too many network shows.

Do you get the Smithsonian Chanel? I occasionally find some good stuff now. I once loved Discovery Health, but it got repetitive and they starting showing less surgies and soon it will be eaten by OWN! The Oprah Winfey Network!"

No, I don't get any of the good channels.I'm house sitting for some friends starting this week and they get NatGeo and about a thousand other channels I never heard of or knew existed. For some reason I keep thinking of that Gregory Peck movie THE BOYS FROM BRAZIL when reading about this story.

I love this ****. If I catched it at around 4:20 it often totally blows my mind.

I'll have to watch this.

I'm reminded of a documentary I watched a few years ago about Siberian tigers in the Soviet Union. All the townspeople were blond and blue eyed and the a few of the little boys were named Adolf.

A very interesting subplot for a show about tigers that was never explored.

I definitely want to check this out. I once read a book about the most evil secret societies in the world past and present, and they had a whole chapter devoted to what the Angel of Death and other Nazi's did and organized in South America after the escape.

I'll try to catch this if it is rerun.

Meanwhile, is that Peter Coyote narrating? Is he the new Edward Hermann?

A lot of times the shows turn out to not be sensational as they portend to be, but at least you learn something. Did you enjoy it, at least?
