Scroll down a bit. One of their stories apart of their Katrina coverage.
I found it really amusing.

People in New England use the word "wicked" a lot.
There was once a TV series called "Popular".
What's your point?

Posted: 8/29/05 at 11:28pmOnce I was watching The Weather Channel and they talked about the ten-day forecast and called it the "Day by Day." I think newscasters and broadcasters in general LOVE making Stephen Schwartz references, as evidenced by the recent Trading Spaces: Boys vs. Girls in which Ty said told the boys they "gotta find their corner."

The other day I was watching NBC and they said BSoBW.
I almost died.

Namo, I saw that episode! And then the Lucky Charms commerical came one! And the little leprauchaun stared "pulling pots of gold from thin air" and then the children ran with their lucky charms past "houses on a street where it's sunny" and then they ran past the a tree and the girl shouted to the boy "You're olive tree is dying!" but its okay cause he continued to eat his Lucky Charms and then his teeth started decaying!!
Stephen Schwartz must be so rich for getting mentioned so much!! He must be, like, richer than Bill Gates!!
The opposite of creation isn't war, it's stagnation.

I'd like to be a lion tamer, Sequins and tights and silk top hats. I know I could be a lion tamer, I've always gotten along with cats...
I love that song...

In Mean Girls, Lindsay Lohan does some narrating where she says, "to prove that NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED."
Sadly, I almost wet myself.

I wet myself when my friend turned to me during intermission of Wicked and says, "God, this sucks, huh?"
He was so right, but I said, "It's all for the best." Because we had dinner reservations and nothing else to do but sit through the even worse second half.

Posted: 8/30/05 at 9:08amI think they went back in time with a time machine and brought back the term "defying gravity." Everybody always needs to undermine Stephen Schwartz, it's not fair. They climb in their time machine and issue the command, "turn back, o man," and then they rip him off.

Threadjack/spoiler ahead:
Speaking of FORTY YEAR OLD VIRGIN, do you think they got permission from Twyla Tharp to use her choreography from the movie HAIR? I didn't notice any acknowledgement in the end credits.
It was funny as hell, though. I assume she has a sense of humor.
