Interesting trivia:

He dated Blythe Danner in college.

Was once a drummer for an early version of Steely Dan.

Was in consideration for the lead in AMERICAN BEAUTY.

Loved him in CADDYSHACK, the first VACATION, and FLETCH. That moron Ryan Reynolds stole every move he makes from him. Oh, and back in the day, he was HOT!

I love all of his rants in the vacation movies.
