Drudge brings us this little gem.
Remind Democrats who said what

No one is denying that everyone thought they had weapons of mass destruction. What is at issue is what types of weapons they had, whether or not intelligence was manipulated, and whether the threat posed warranted a full-scale invasion, or, some other alternative.

The Bush Administration ratcheted up the rhetoric, and now wants to pretend like it was not saying anything different from prior administrations.

There are consequences for the choices a president makes. Bush must take responsibility for the failures he and his team made. He cannot keep pointing at Clinton and other Democrats and saying "they said they same thing and knew the same info" because neither is true. They said some of the same things. They had some of the same info. But "some" if very different from "all".

With all the lies, deceit, incompetence and fraud being heaped on the increasingly disapproving American people by your beloved worst-president-ever Bush and the other slimebucket traitors in his administration, must you and Drudge keep whacking off to old Clinton news?

Sheesh. Wake up, Gotham. YOU were lied to too.

But the question is did he have the materials in 2001/2002 and was he in cahoots with Al Quaeda. And the answer to both is NO. And that's what you jerks won't recognize. And instead of dealing with the responsibilities and ramifications of THIS administration, you and Drudge can ONLY "But But But Clinton". You can not deal with the present issues because you know you are going to lose this debate. All will be exposed, and this admin is going to come tumbling down.

You need to be a real Christian and take responsibility instead of constantly trying to pass on blame or just flat out lie.

Oh gee's Gothampc! All you do is bitch about Clinton, liberals, etc. Drudge? Is this the same Drudge who CLAIMED AL Gore was leaving politcs & opening a coffee shop/diner in Tennessee? Or the same Drudge that accused Sidney Blumenthal of beating his wife? Funny how whenever Drudge is wrong he NEVER retracts the story. He just ignores it like it never happened. This is what happenes when one is so desperate to be the first to report. They don't check their facts. Having said that, Drudge is correct. However his headline is very misleading. He does this on purpose. Did it occur to you that many politicans both republican & democrats said one thing about the war because they actually BELIEVED the adminstartion was being honest with them?

It says ALOT to have John Edwards come out this week & appologize saying he was wrong for voting for the war in Iraq. If Bush hadn't lied & twisted intelligence to go to war maybe these people wouldn't be back peddling. This is why SO MANY republicans are angry with Bush. One of the reasons why Bush's approval is at an all time low. How come your not reporting about that Goth?

Funny how Goth caters the facts to his advantage, always leaving out vital bits of information (just like Drudge)to serve his advantage. Be prepared to be called on all your BS Goth!

"The best way to end that threat once and for all is with a new Iraqi government -- a government ready to live in peace with its neighbors, a government that respects the rights of its people," Clinton said."

Clinton wanted regime change same as Bush. BUT, the Dems wanted it on their watch, and can't stand that the Republicans are getting credit for it.

I think the Dems are quite happy to give the Republicans credit for this fiasco.

Regime change does not mean invasion. There are other ways to achieve a change in regime other than through brute force.

It is amazing that you all spent 8 years tearing Clinton apart, but find it useful to rely on his words when your own leaders have failed.

Goth you are truly lost! I know republicans who HATE Bush because of the negative mark he's left on their party. Bill Maher said it best that these people are loyal to their party but NOT their country. They don't stand by principals but the individual man alone. If Bush took a gun & shot an innocent person these idiots would excuse it. BLIND FAITH! Goth, you are the worst type too because you won't admit failure when its obvious. Your mind is way too closed & your way too stuborn to admit Bush is a disaster. Thats why they always come back to Clinton. Funny how Clinton visited the bom site this week in Jordan before Bush. Funny how Clint visited & spoke (because he was invited) to Rosa Parks funeral. Bill can go about freely without worrying about protest or extra security. It drives you Bushlovers insane that Clinton is treated with respect, love, & royality whereever he goes on the planet.Wherever Bush travels he is greeted with angry protest, hate, extra security, etc. This is YOUR guy. The guy YOU defend. Yeah, Goth you are in the minority here. Let also be said that the GOP has 100% control. You can't blame the democrats beause you people have all the power. Look at how big of a mess you've made things? Man, am I proud to be a liberal Democrat!

Why does a Bush loving conservative post on a Broadway message board? Just sounds odd.

Ya know, if Goth can credit Matt Drudge then I'll credit & plug a few sites of my own.

I'm sorry. I didn't know theater was reserved for Clinton loving liberals.

Goth--or any of the other Republicans on the board--would you be willing to answer these questions from Monday's USA Today poll?

--

1. Do you approve or disapprove of the way George W. Bush is handling his job as president?

2. Do you approve or disapprove of the way George W. Bush is handling:

Terrorism
Foreign affairs
The economy
The situation in Iraq
Controlling federal spending

3. Thinking about the following characteristics and qualities, please say whether you think it applies or doesn't apply to George W. Bush.

Is honest and trustworthy
Can manage the government effectively
Shares your values

4. Next, how well are things going in the country today – very well, fairly well, pretty badly, or very badly?

5. Do you think the country would be better off if the Republicans controlled Congress, or if the Democrats controlled Congress?

6. Would you describe George W. Bush as a strong president (or a) weak president?

7. How would you describe your overall opinion of George W. Bush? Would you say you like Bush a lot, like him a little, dislike him a little, (or) dislike Bush a lot?

9. Do you approve or disapprove of the way Dick Cheney is handling his job as vice president?

10. Which comes closer to your view about the advice Vice President Dick Cheney has given to President George W. Bush over the past five years? Good advice or bad advice or both?

11. If George W. Bush supported a candidate for political office in your area, would you be more likely or less likely to vote for that candidate?

12. Thinking ahead to next year’s Congressional elections, which type of candidate would you be most likely to support:

a Republican who agrees with George W. Bush on almost every major issue,
a Republican who has had both agreements and disagreements with Bush,
a Democrat who has had both agreements and disagreements with Bush, (or)
a Democrat who disagrees with George W. Bush on almost every major issue?

13. Would you say you trust what George W. Bush says more, about the same, or less than you trusted what previous presidents said while in office?

14. Would you say you trust what George W. Bush says more, about the same, or less than you trusted what Bill Clinton said while he was president?

How many US soldiers died in those attacks, Gotham? These strikes were carried out from remote locations on carriers. You know, you say "we" can't have it both ways, and yet you're praising Clinton for doing the same thing as Bush? So does this mean Clinton is okay now? And how much money did we spend on that venture vs. our folly in Iraq now? I thought Repubs were financial conservatives. Drudge is aptly named indeed.

"Goth--or any of the other Republicans on the board--would you be willing to answer these questions from Monday's USA Today poll?"

Why should I take a poll from people that don't realize there is a number between 7 and 9?

These questions are very vague. I think overall Bush is doing a good job, however I don't agree with him on some things. For example, I completely disagree with his position on Israel.

I left out #8 because it was moot--asking if you hate Bush, which some of the USA Today readers do. You do not.

Seriously. Can you answer the questions? It would give some of us some insight into what we think of as your slavish devotion to a bad leader.

"Clinton wanted regime change same as Bush. BUT, the Dems wanted it on their watch, and can't stand that the Republicans are getting credit for it."

ummmmm...what?

You keep your so-called credit.

I and the rest of the non-American population of the world, hope one day that the supposed "world leaders" can actually elect a decent president, one who doesn't piss us off...

Even the staunchly pro-America America-is-the-promised-land-that-will-allow-us-to-become-rich-and-happy conservative Poles that live around me have woken up to the crap that is in your White House.

It's about time you did too, Goth...

I guess it's the U.S.'s fault that Poland joined the EU even though the EU is in a shambles.
