I've looked everywhere for the info and I can't seem to find it.

I know Conan O'Brian doesnt tape 1 day a week and I can't find out which day he doesn't tape. Also, I've heard varying times of the taping but I don't know which time is correct.
They only sell tickets up to a certain date so I've gotta call back at a time they are selling the tickets for the day I want to go, but, if I get tickets, do I still have to stand in line at all or do I just go at the time of the taping?

I mean, if the tickets are free, people can get them and then not go. I'm so confused. Then what do they do with the empty seats last minute?

Sweet, They usually load in the audience around 4 o'clock. Most tickets are gotten through the mail. There are some stand-bys that they give out before the show. I would say get there early and wait. See if there are any free seats.

Just get there around 4 when the audience goes in?

I thought they are free. I thought the tickets don't cost anything.

beacs- thank you but thats what I already saw.

It doesn't say about the taping time or what time you should arrive if you DO have tickets.

If they do start bringing the audience in at 4:00, I guess the taping starts at around 5 and finishes by 6:00?

Edit: I just realized it says "Tickets are no longer available by mail for NBC shows taped in New York. All NBC ticket information (for NY) is detailed on our ticket line [phone]."

Obviously nobody is there now so I'll have to call tomorrow.

I don't know how else you'd get the tickets if they aren't going to send them to you. Would they hold them at the box office like they do for Broadway shows?

Ok- so I got tickets for mid August and I have what may be a stupid question.

I know Rockefeller Center is pretty big but I was wondering if it has a "stage door" and if it is possible to meet him.

I'm not sure what time you have to arrive (it depends on what time he is filming), but you have to check in and get a wristband. Shows overbook incase people don't show up, so I wouldn't wait too long to check in or they might have already filled all the seats.

Okay, so how much are the free seats? I would assume they're inexpensive.

Does anybody know if there is a half-price booth like TKTS for free seats to Conan's show and if so are there service charges they don't tell you about and do they only take cash?

I've been told Conan comes out through the same Radio City door as the Rockettes. Does anybody know if he signs?

Is there anyone to take me by the hand and lead me through the entire experience so I don't have to just make a decision as something comes up?
