Dancing is Hard Work!

it's a rule of thumb with me,

i don't dance. but for this show i just did i needed dance shoes so i bought them and because i wanted to get my moneys worth i just started taking dance lessons.

i hate them. i feel like a total idiot and i can't do anything! i think i must be the only person in Houston that cannot dance like a pro! Everyone has told me that it takes a while until you get the hang of it, but i'm starting to think that i just don't have the talent. it's been almost two months.

it's sorta a blow to me as a preformer-wanna-be but i guess it's ok.

Is there anyone else out there that can't dance!!??

Trust me. You're not the only person in Houston who cannot dance.

I guarentee you I am worse than you. Dude my "cha-cha-cha" dance looks like I'm having convulsions or something.

I think South Park was right. People with Jewish blood have no rythm.

I'm jewish and can dance. I know many good jewish dancers too. CarolineQTboo hope you do better as you practice. Just practice practice practice. You don't need to be the best dancer.

I'm Jewish too. I gotta tell you, it's very frustrating for the first year, but there is no greater reward when it finally "clicks"

um what the hell are you people talking about... jewish people no rhythm?

Um there are a lot of famous musicians with plenty of rhythm, two of the top of my head...Benny Goodman and Paul Simon.

and sure, they weren't dancers, but had rhythm--especially Benny Goodman.

And there are plenty of jewish dancers too, so you cna not blame the fact that you are jewish on not being able to dance.

Just wanted to say that. But anyway, keep working, you'll get it.
