did anyone see this AMAZING film? I rented it yesturday and just finished it and I am floored.
it was unbelievably provacative, powerful, ingenious and disturbing. It was a brilliant almost satire of southern America. The prejudices etc.
the film was funny at times- but also incredibly dark, serious and moving.
For anyone who hasn't seen it, i suggest you go and rent it. It really has a lot to say, not to mention it is filmed interestingly and the world created is vivid and real.
not to mention it has an amazingly hunky cast featuring JAMIE BELL (billy elliot himself) (who looks awesome throughout the entire film) and MICHAEL ANGARANO

Satire on Southern America, huh? Then I need to get it so I can see whether or not it is close or just hollywood stereotying us southerners as usual.

it's more of a semi-satire on guns, violence and somewhat the south.
i'm from Texas- so I could sorta relate to what they were doing.
but the amazing thing is- this is Southern America as pictured by DANES
