Diabetes and Stem Cell Research

Its a petition to help find a cure for diabetes, and to support funding for stem cell research!


Being a Type 1 diabetic this is an issue that is very close to my heart and is something I am very passionate about.

If you do not agree with the matter or research then of course you do not have to sign or pass this along, but if you do agree and can find it in you hearts to sign and/or pass it along then thank you.

I'll sign. My dad is a diabetic, and both of my grandparents died from diabetes-caused symptoms. I'm predisposed to get it when I'm older. This is important to me.

Stem cell research holds so much promise, not just for diabetes, but for spinal cord injuries, Alzheimer's, end-stage organ failure, and a host of other serious medical conditions.

I support it, absolutely.

I gladly signed, too. With a grandmother and cousin dealing with diabetes, as well as students, friends and acquaintances, a cure for this disease, and other illnesses that would benefit from stem cell research, can't come soon enough.

I'll gladly sign on behalf of my diabetic brother, even though the fool (who's married to a woman with MS) voted for the candidate that is opposed to stem cell research.

I agree with iflitifloat: stem cell research could help with a whole lot of problems. Not only did I sign it, but I emailed it to a bunch of other friends in hopes that they will sign as well.

As a diabetic for over 23 years I support this. My grandparents and father all died of this disease. The time has come to eradicate it.
