Director gave us clues... Help with my school musical?

Hi!

My new performing arts director has given us a total of 3 clues as to what the school musical may be this year. One was given each week. The clues are...

1) A rose - This happened by chance. Someone had accidentally left some flowers in the performing arts center (where we have class) and he saw it and said "Oh, this could be a clue for the show." So this clue was unplanned, but the clue is a rose.

2) The initials C.W. - We asked him for a clue this time, and he quickly said "C.W." He said it could be the initials for a person or for a thing.

3) A brush - He said it could be just a brush, or hair brush.

Please help! I'd love to be able to find out what show he has in mind for this year. In the past years, recent shows our school has done on are Crazy for You, Les Mis, Aida, Anything Goes, Sound of Music.

Sounds like Beauty and the Beast. That would explain the rose, and "C.W." is meant to refer to the new show "Beauty and the Beast" on the CW. Not sure about the third clue, though.

I think C.W. could possibly stand for Cogsworth. I think it is Beauty and the Beast as well. The Hair Brush could be an inanimate object in the ensemble?

Yes i think it may be beauty and the beat as well
