YAY! I thought I would share my excitement with you guys! Akron, OH (I live in the area) just announced that Mamma Mia! will be coming here next year. Usually, the small cities get all non-Equity tours. The other 3 are all non-Equity (Millie, Jesus Christ Superstar, Chicago). Could this be because of all the Equity issues?

I think it's more a case of MM making the tour rounds for what...the third time?

I agree, etoile. They have ran out of cities. They visited Cleveland twice.
Aren't Millie and Jesus Christ Superstar Equity? Or will there be new national tours by then?
BTW, the (Equity) tour of Les Miz is making its FAYETTEVILLE, ARKANSAS (!) debut next year. I guess they have indeed run out of cities. ![]()
Don't believe me?

All I know is, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR needs to come to Charlotte, NC so I can go see it.

The equity tour of JCS is closed...............
Dang it. Of course it would be. ERG!!! Oh well, RENT needs to come back then.
not to mention the fact that if it was a tour that mimicked the recent broadway production (Superstar) it would SUCK. It was one of the worst shows I've ever seen in my life in New York.
