Firefly (and Serenity)

I watched the entire series and the movie last week, and I'm massively in love with it. I keep saying "shiny" and "gorramn" (that's the proper spelling, according to the sub-titles of Serenity). So, so, so great.

Any fans here?

i love it. i love all of joss's stuff. he has a new series for the fall called dollhouse. i can't wait for it. amy acker (fred from angel) and eliza dushku (faith from buffy/angel) are in it.

The brevity of Firefly is a crime against humanity. It really was full of good old-fashioned fun.

I was introduced to Firefly a little over a year ago by my friends and boyfriend... instantly hooked. It's a shame only 7 or so of the 13 episodes were ever actually aired on FOX. Great show.

We went as most of the cast this past Halloween...


(My boyfriend and I as Mal and Inara... my wig was killer!)


(The whole gang... we were just missing a Zoe and a Book.)

I reckon I could round up enough friends to do that. But I think they'd force me to be Kaylee because I'm just too damn white to be Zoe. Which is ridiculously sad. Zoe is my awesome, as far as the girls go.

But Jayne is obviously completely the best character full stop no arguing.
