This is the first look at the coming RR4 series. The fully functioning prototype 200EX. I've been anticipating this for a long time, and I'm impressed. It makes me want to fly to Geneva.
Not a bad commercial, either.
"Aspects of these videos were filmed using models that may not be available in all markets." ~ I'm sure one model won't be. " XD

They had no choice but to follow Bentley's lead - there are only so many rapper millionaires out there willing to spend this kind of money on crap.
But WHY are they still marketing the low-profile tires?!?
Apparently, the rapper millionaires bought just enough to be catered to.
Blech.
At least they're not showcasing the diamond encrusted ensignias that we have to endure here in SoCal.

There are some high-tech features that separate this from the Brooklands. This is a new engine and I'm interested in hearing more about it. But this may not be the number of cylinders they'll put in the RR4 engines. They scaled down with the EX100 & EX101, too, when the Coupes came out on the market.
The tyres, well, it's probably so they won't have to carry a spare with a jack. They can go a hundred miles at 55 mph with a flat tyre.
I don't care what rappers like. And I didn't care for the Phantom series, but I do like what I've seen and heard of this car. (Granted it hasn't been unveiled yet, that's next week in Geneva.) I definitely want to know more aout it!
Diamonds...not interested. But I do appreciate fine leather and woodworking. I like things that are crafted by hand using traditional methods, rather than mass production. I think the overal design is beautiful, and BMW makes good a car, in general.
So we disagree

I really don't know much about rappers. You live in that area, so I'm sure you are basing this on your observations.
If I should get a RR4 (the jury is still out, a lot depends on the ecology of the engine system) you won't think I'm a rapper if you should someday see me drive by. It will look subtle and understated. You may ot even notice. I'm sure that's not what you are referring to

No, what we see is pretty much designed to 'stand out'.
