Please, Jim Henson was Hippy! The muppets have always embodied that late sixties early 70's idealolgy. A group of rag tag artisans where everyone was a welcome member (even chicken loving weirdos!).

Its Fox News,what do people expect? ANYONE who does not agree with their thinking is leftist,communist,socialist,etc.They label the "media" liberal when they report on the things they do not like. Now they are going after the Muppets. A News Organization is going after the Muppets. Just think about that for a minute.How many times in a day is Fox News Wrong?

Okay... *oye* the guy said that this is different than a little toy in a happy meal. How is it any different? He keeps trying to talk it up like it's this big complicated idea that kids cannot not comprehend at all. The rich Texas oil tycoon has been a cliche for f**king DECADES! This is not a new idea! That had to be the most asinine argument I've ever heard. Tex Richman wasn't the bad guy because he was a rich oil man, he was a bad guy because he was a jerk. If Eric Bolling's parents told that was the kind of person he should be - apparently a guy who raps about gold-plating cats and tries to sabotage telethons, then I guess that explains a lot about how Eric Bolling turned out.

The sad part is, I saw one person agreeing with Fox about this on Facebook last night. She's insisting that even her six-year-old saw *that* message. Since Fox News and 6-year-olds are hardly indistinguishable anymore, I wouldn't really say that's an achievement.

I can't wait until "It's a Wonderful Life" airs again and Fox sticks up for that poor misunderstood job creator, Mr. Potter.

Haven't seen the movie yet. But the Muppets represent the caring, sharing, compassion, and the anarchic equality these FOX News people despise. More so on Sesame Street. Not the rugged pro-individualism these clowns espouse.
