So I'm leaving work at about 10pm tonight, walking past Bryant Park, and I notice people already sitting in lawn chairs lined up for something happening the next morning. Apparently Prince is going to be on GMA's "Summer Concert Series" tomorrow morning, which would be cool to see, but I didn't realize that this was something that people lined up overnight for.
Has anyone ever been to these shows in Bryant Park, are they usually this popular? Just curious if this is a Summer Concert thing, or a Prince thing, as to the crowd forming the night before like this.

Posted: 6/16/06 at 12:15amIt all depends on who's singing. I've gone and there's been no one there, and I've seen people lining up early the morning before to get in (and yet, still gotten wonderful spots on the lawn myself).
