Now, I don't mean to be rude, but what has the Larson family actually done?
They've certainly figured out how to take the money.
They've certainly not done anything to maintain the integrity of the piece, which, for all intents and purposes, is more-or-less a joke now, what with the atrocious movie, disasterous RENT REMIXED, and uninspired casting choices...

The Larson family has been crucial in making sure that Johnathan's work has not been bastardized by allowing it to be turned into a sub-par movie or edited for high school productions.

I think it's a great idea. And its a way to send a personal thank you, or memiors to people who would truly appreciate them.
You don't have to necessarily thank the people. But you can talk about what RENT has done for you.
